Car Trouble?

Most car trouble can be avoided by regular car check-ups and paying very close attention to your car's noises, vibrations, and overall "behavior."

Keep your nose on high alert for these smells:

• Burnt Rubber, Sweet Vapor, Rotten Eggs • Burning Oil, Burning Food (Toast Scent)

Keep your eyes peeled for:

• White, Blue, or Blueish Grey Smoke • Black Smoke in your rear-view mirror

Listen up for:

• Loud knocking, rattling, or squeaking

Try to pinpoint where the scent / sound is coming from and bring your car in for a check-up.

It's a familiar but unfortunate story

Your trusty, reliable car was running just fine until one day, out of nowhere, you find yourself stranded on the side of the road with a tire blowout, a smokey engine, or electrical failure. It always catches you by surprise...or does it?

Most common issues that render your car un-drivable can be prevented and/or detected ahead of time by a trained auto mechanic prior to the failure. Here at Village Auto, every time you bring your car in for an oil change, tune-up, inspection, etc., we take the time to do a quick run-through of all the major potential problem areas and a courtesy safety check. (You can never be too certain.)

  • Oil pressure light
  • Check engine light
